Expressions Dance Company
Jenni Holley Dance Studio is the home of the Expressions Dance Company. The dance company is divided into three levels based on age and experience: Junior, Teen and Senior. We currently have over 30 dancers in the company ranging in ages 10 to 18. They train 4 to 10 hours a week in all areas of dance and spend many hours rehersing for upcoming performances.
Expressions Dance Company performs at many events, including the Waco cultural Arts Festival, H.O.T. Fair, Dech the Halls, Junior League Mother-Daughter Tea, Kidz Expo and local school and church gatherings. They also attend several dance conventions and competitions each year. At the conventions the dancers have the opportunity to take master classes in various styles of dance form from well know and highly respected choregraphers. At the competitions they have the opportunitiy to be critiqued, win prizes and gain valuable performance experience.
Being a part of the dance company also means getting to perform in extra dance pieces at our annual recital, including opening numbers and finals. We also have a special dance company recital shocase in which the dancers can perform their solos, duets and trios. Since our new studio has a performance space as well, this will open us up to many more opportunities to dance in front of an audience!
Our dance company is by invitation only. We select dancers who show the drive, enthusiams, attitude and ability to take their dance training to the next level. We have a great group of dancers who work really hard while also having a lot of fun together. Additional classes, rehersals and fees will apply.
